Well, I would walk like 30 km and I would walk 30 km more... ILIKETHAT, ILIKETHAT, ILIKETHAT, UNLUNDADADADADADADA

I'll keep it real, the last two weeks have been Bomb. We have 6 new amis. One of them we are setting a baptismal date with this next week. We have put a ton of km's in on our feet, contacting in areas that have never heard of the church. I have seen all manner of animals in our adventures in the countryside, horses, goats, chickens, cattle, pigs, random deer, rabid dogs, sabertooth tigers, pretty much every animal you can have on a farm.

We got this one referrals this week for a man named Éric. He saw a tv program about the Church and was interested and so he called the visitor center and requested a Book of Mormon and a visit. So we had Olivier (a member) drive us down and visit with him. When we got there we introduced ourselves and just answered his questions about the Book of Mormon. We read a few passages from the Book of Mormon and he said that he will have to read it and pray about it for himself. We shared Moroni 10:3-5 and Olivier shared his story of conversion with Éric. We are staying in contact and have a rendezvous planned for once we get back to Namur from the Anderson Conference.

Another cool thing we did this week is we walled like 30 kms out to an old Ami's house. The countryside is so beautiful. I honestly can't imagine staying in centre ville for as long as some missionaries do. The people who live in the countryside are so nice, and happy, and about 500 times nicer. They always listen. Most of the time they are not interested and say things like "felicitations" (congratulations) (like I am not interested but like you go king). It is a much better environment.

When we arrived he wasn't home (ça va) so we left a note in his mailbox. We are hoping he is okay because he was super interested and then all of a sudden... nothing. It just would be nice to receive a note or call saying "I am not interested".  I just want this guy to be happy.

We committed our Ami Luis to baptism today. It is pretty cool how we found him. This member Gilbert showed up out of nowhere and he is the goat. He has introduced all his friends and neighbors to the gospel. That is how we found the El Salvadoran family and He brought Luis to church too. It is just so nice to have members who introduce their friends to the gospel, and it's teachings. He is just super super cool and ready for the gospel.

Other than that I am excited to hang out in Paris this week with Elder Bingham and Elder Peel in Cergy. We are going on exchanges with them because we have the Anderson Conference on Tuesday and then we have my Legality on thursday.

C'est toujours allumie,

ab
