How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings

Big News: Elder Purdy is going to replace Dallin (Elder Luth) in Angers, I am staying in Namur and will be with Elder Johnson.

Other than that, I finished the garage, I did half of the roofing and finished the walls all by myself while Elder Purdy helped Luc build a brick wall. I feel way too confident on frames right now and am craving another insane project but it will be okay.

Earlier this week, we had exchanges with the Liège Boys. Elder Nelson and I had a lot of fun. We had this ami, who called us legitimately every other nights while texting us the off day, for my entire first transfer.  His name is Stephen and He LOVES Feet. He would send us all sorts of texts saying stuff like.

"It is stephen the masseuse of feet, I am at the disposition of your feet."
"Are your feet cold because I will warm them up."
" are your feet bare, if not I can take your socks off for you."
"I am willing to talk more about the book of mormon and massage your feet."

Elder Purdy and I had never met him, but we set up a rendezvous for all four of us, unfortunately Elder Payne didn't want to go. So Elder Nelson and I went after dropping off venez voyez invites in all the mailboxes of Erpent, where the chapel in Namur is located.

After meeting in the park with stephen we assessed the dangers, and quickly realized that there were none. So we went on a tour of Namur with Stephen and then he took us to his apartment and massaged our feet. It was very weird. We taught him about 20% of the principles of the gospel and gave him a book of mormon. It was probably one of the strangest rendezvous I have ever been to but it was super fun and one that Elder Nelson and I will remember for ever.

*note* we had never met anyone with a legit foot fetish, we both thought it was just a universally accepted inside joke, like Santa or the Easter Bunny. But apparently we were wrong, foot fetishes are real and very very funny.

I woke up and could speak french this week which was odd. I just can say things now, I wouldn't say that I have made it but substantial progress is always a good thing.

Je t'aime,
ab
