Jules Verne, Boulogne-sur-mer
So i don't have a ton of time so I am going to Highlight 3 things.
Last week we had district P-day. Which was super fun. We went to jules vernes house. Then went and walked around in the mini alsace. Went to a canadian restaurant got some poutine.
Went to the park. I ran around in the sprinklers like the 19 year old man that I am (Sœur Ritter and McGillis joined in and ran through the sprinklers.) We then went and saw the head of Jean-Baptiste (because being a resurrected being you can just leave your skull on earth and the carbon dating places the skull around the time frame of JB around 0-1000. So its him obviously). After that we road the Zipline over the pond that was hecka fun... other than me pulling the line down and because i was going down at around mach 4 I hit the cattails and other pond bushes and made a cloud of leaves cartoon style. After the zipline we went and got Ice cream and the sœurs left. It honestly was one of the most fun P-days ever. The Sœurs here are so fun and we constantly are laughing it is the best.

Today we went to Boulogne-Sur-Mer. A medieval town on the beach. It was amazing. The beach is not as nice but the fortified town was so cool. All the original walls are standing. This huge italian looking cathedral and a castle. We ended up walking like 27 miles around the town to hit it all but we did it and it was so cool.(we definitely could have planned better)10/10 I would highly recommend going there on any trips to france. Paris is poopoo...
This week we had a rendezvous with Thomas. Thomas is one of the coolest people I have taught on my mission. He is also really difficult to plan lessons for because he has been an ami for 4 years. Has a testimony. His wife was baptized in february. He has said that he wants the priesthood and his children to go on missions. Is literally the life of the party at church *in the most respectful way possible* he just is a part of the branche. He is not the person being taught or anything he is thomas member (non) of the branche. We taught him about the gospel of Jesus Christ for the 1000th time. But Elder fund had created this masterpiece of an analogy using toll booth and the destinations of eternal life and Happiness or death and captivity. Obviously due to these really advanced topics you can tell how much he knows. Anyways it was a really good lesson. He just doesn't feel ready yet. This is going to sound really cliché. But he is literally the most ready person I have ever seen. It is super frustrating but he is super cool. I think he knows he will have to be the next branch president. But yeah that was my week. Hope you all have a great week.
