Belgian Water Quality Report (December 9, 2019)
Bonsoir,
I hope everyone had an enjoyable week. I kind of did. Here are the fun things that happened this week. In a way to show my respect for baili I am writing my weekly in a bullet point format.
For anything in red italics you can skip it if you are short on time.
•We had a super fun district P-day last week. I don't remember writing about it but yeah it was fun.
•Sœur Gustafson and Elder Glade got transferred... #serveinpeace #youllbeinmyheart
•we had an 8 hour broadcast introducing a new technology tool called the raspberry pie. A raspberry pie is a computer kit that you buy your 12 y/o who is interested in computer engineering and programming. It is like a trainer computer. Some missionary in spain created a code that takes where you live on facebook and adds people as friends like crazy.
• we were watching all of this from a zoom call and zoom calls are pretty much just sad times because you can't ever hear anything but we did see a slide pop up that said use hashtags so #ICANTHEAR started trending in La Mission Française de Paris
• they also want us to start posting memes on our mission facebooks but by memes they mean inspirational photos...
•And post every other day
• on thursday night, I said hi to the gauffre guy and that homie was shook someone cared about how he was doing. Be nice. Ask people how they are doing. Merci
•for those of you who are not deeply invested in the water quality in belgium. Let me tell you why spa is important. Water in belgium is apparently pretty gnarly stuff so you either have to filter it or buy bottled water. Spa is a bottled water company. I PERSONALLY AM NOT A FAN BUT IT IS LEGENDARY SO WE WENT.
•i bought some spa water. It was coconut flavored and sparkling. It was delightful. I feel so zen. My taste buds were taken for a delightful sleigh ride on a nice fresh blanket of coconut flake snow.
•actually to accurately describe the first taste. Imagine you are a fly and that the coconut is a windshield. Yeah yeah... you get my point
•they advertised it as a touch of coconut. I am pressing charges...
•the last thing that really happened was in the rush to get off the train and to a rendezvous I left my phone on the train.
•I realized at the bottom of the stairs did the *tap tap* "I don't have my phone" at the bottom of 3 flights of stairs to run back up look in the train see my phone on the seat.
•Run to the door.
• Door is locked.
• Train is pulling away.
•3 seconds to decide whether or not I am jumping on the back of this train riding to the next stop and getting my phone.
I am emailing you from said phone.
Hope you all had a great week.
