Belgium Round 2 🇧🇪 (October 28, 2019)
So I am actually back.
This week was good, kind of always a tough week. Just very disorienting and I have to cram knowledge into my brain. Bus schedules, maps, member names, amis, meet everyone. We have a solid teaching pool, and a good number of progressing amis. I am excited for my time here.
In other news, i have so far had gaufres, frites and the famous Octobre excusive les lacquements. I missed belgium.
To mix it up, my companion and I have been reporting home by changing the lyrics to hymns and songs saying that we are home. We have started to get the entire district to do it. I don't know how to attach those so don't expect them.
I don't know if any of you remember reading my emails from 8 months ago from an exchange in liège. We visited a member named mamie. She is 94. She is so funny. And she loves me. I do not know why. I walked in (for the first time as a liège elder and the second time in general) and she just says "vous aurez tous les jeunes filles couru après vous" and I am like "ah thanks...haha...girls don't like me...haha..." Then at church she told a missionary who returned with her mom and sister "you should wait for him. He is keeper" i am so confused.
Uhm other than that. I like forgot french yesterday while introducing myself to the Liège ward. they all think I am super stupid. But ça va, ça va. I have had really good conversations with everyone personally just over the pulpit my french just kinda shut off.
